Idanha Church
Is Dedicated
Idanha An important event
in Idanha was the dedication of
the new community church
building. Thii building has
been under process of construc
tion since early summer and
not only residents of Idanha but
people from many communities
have helped, not only by labor
but financially as well.
The dedication service was
held at 2:30 o'clock and the
church was filled to capacity.
Henry Hlebert, acting as chair
man, was in charge of the pro
gram, which follows:
Community singing, led by
Sol Warkentln; scripture and
prayer by. the pastor, Eldon Ha
ley; Detroit high school girls
glee club, conducted and accom
panied by Charlene Hanan; the
poem, "The Builders," by Mrs.
Henry Quiring; "God Is Here"
by the male quartet of the Dal
las Mennonlte Brethren; his
torical sketch, Mrs. Rheba Sny
der; "Rose of Sharon," trio.
Minute greetings were brought
by Eldon Haley, NCC student
pastor of the Idanha church, to
all present; Warren Knape, NCC

church of Detroit, greetings
from the pastor of the West
Salem M. B. church; quartet,
the Warkentin family; dedica
tory message and dedicatory
prayer by the Mennonite Breth

Although much snow had fal
len between Friday evening and
Sunday morning, nearly continu
ously, "cats" belonging to the
Hlebert-Savage logging company
had cleared roads leading to the
church, and ample parking

Christ For The Crisis
A dramatic discussion of our present world problems as pictured in prophecy:
The East and West grappling grimly for world supremacy; Communism and
Democracy locked in world-wide conflict.
Terrible war scares, revolutions, riots, lawlessness, crime, looting, raping,
hunger, disease, strikes, fear, atomic weapons, inflation, disregard for re
ligious ideals, social and economic problems . . . these cause millions to ask:
"What is the way out? What is the solution? How can we have peace?"
There is a way out, and we therefore suggest that you hear this outstanding
address. Please do not confuse these services with ordinary revivals. You
cannot afford to miss one of these Sunday night addresses.
Sunday, January 22, 6:30 P.M.

see no romance on the horizon.
"If and when the right man
comes along, however, he'U have

would want my family's consent,
and I doubt if I'd attempt to
marry anyone they'd disapprove
of.

It depends on how I'd feel at
