(AP Wirephoto) Price of Eggs Still Dropping Another one to two-cent drop on large grades of eggs was re corded here Wednesday morn ing, following similar cuts in the Portland listings. The decline brings egg prices down to the lowest in a year here and the continuous cuts of the past month now amount to a total of 13 to 14 cents decline on the top grades. Surpluses and a price drop on midwestern markets are given as reasons for the big- cuts in the Portland produce market, the Salem area following the Portland one. In the Wednesday listings here the following buying quo tations are as follows: Large AA, 40 cents: large A, 37-38 cents; medium AA, 32 cents; medium A, 30-31 cents: pullets, 27 cents. Wholesale prices generally listed the large eggs at 43 cents mediums at 35 cents.
