Sets Election
Dallas An election will be
held Monday, December 5, for
the purpose of choosing two
directors for the southwest Pollc
county fire protection district,
according to Charles M. Thomas,
secretary of the district.
One term will expire Decem
ber 31, 1953, and the only candi
date for that position is Thomai
The other term expires Decem
ber 31, 1954, and Wiley Gardner
is the only candidate for that
position.
Judges of the election will be
Llnza Dennis, Levi Sleighter and
Jess Ragsdale. Polling place will
be in the county courthouse.
Names of the two candidates
were placed on the ballot by
petition. Time for filing nomina
tion petitions has long since
passed but space Is provided on
