The glorious day of our pilgrim fathers will soon be here. And
this year President Ismet Inonu of Turkey, "deeply touched at

straw pens along downtown
streets of McMinnville. Turkey
dogs shepherds and other
breeds are canine constables
schooled to herd turkeys from
the ranges to their ranch shel

to Turkey, with an invitation to
President Inonu to join the U. S.
in a feast observing our day of
Thanksgiving.

vitation to Istanbul a couple of
weeks ago. And today he re-
