v Let $74,300 ' School Contract Contract for the construction of a four-classroom addition to the Green Acres school by the board of school district No. 16 has been awarded to Harry Greenman, Lebanon Route 1, on a low bid of $74,300. The school is in the Lebanon district. High bidder was Claude Buerge, Al bany with $95,922. The contract calls for con struction of a 70 by 170 foot addition which will house an of fice, multi-purpose room and boiler room in addition to the four classrooms. Construction will be frame with plywood, fiberboard, acoustical and as phalt tile in the interior. Glass block windows will be used and the roof trussed rafters with composition shingles. Work on the heating system will include installation of a new boiler and unit ventilators for the existing three classrooms. Liberty Picnic For Oldfimers Liberty A group of old time 1 Liberty residents, former stu dents of the old Liberty school house, met for a re-union picnic at the Liberty Hall. Dinner was served at noon and a general reminiscing over old school days. A short business meeting pre sided over by J. C. Perry was held. The principal speaker was Bruce Cunningham, others sneaking briefly. Members coming the farthest distance to attend the picnic were Mrs. Francis Hrubetz Koromy, from San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Katie Mize-Huntting, from Che halis, Wash.
