De Cicco, Housekeeper Differ About Beating Portland, Ore., May 6 U.R) Mrs. Ramona Humphries Laurion 29, said Thursday she had parted company with Mike De Cicco, newly-elected treasurer of the stale democratic central committee. she denied that her sailor- friends" had beaten up De Cic co at Gearhart, Ore., last Mon day. "I'm definitely through with him. I'm going home to De troit," said Mrs. Laurion. She boarded an airliner at the Port land airport. De Cicco told police that four friends of Mrs. Laurion two sailors from Astoria and two ci vilians broke into his Gear hart cottage and manhandled him. Scouts v. ill gather from 2:30 to 3 o'clock at Marion square, with the pro cession moving at 3:30 sharp The marchers will travel south on Commercial to State a 1 1 to Liberty, north to Court, east on Court to High, south on High to Ferry and east on Ferry to Sweetland field, disbanding point. There they will prepare for the big show that night before the grandstand. Immediately Lions club, sponsoring the cir cus, are to serve supper to all acouts. Grand entry parade will be gin promptly at 7:30, opening a fast-moving program present ing scouts in an absorbing series of events. There will be no dull moments. Clowns are prepared to see to that. Scouts of Cascade Area coun ell will be on hand from all parts of Marion, Polk and Linn counties to prove their skill and prowess at Willamette valley scoutdom's biggest annual vent. It took place Fri day, May 6 at 3:10 p.m. in the home economics room. The committees for the tea were as follows: The invitation committee included Karen John son, Dixie Avritte. Marcie Hel ten and Angela Hartman; the corsage committee, Nancy Rust, Louise Owens, Suzy Piatt, and Shirley Wayt; the program com mittee, Glenda Fox, Jeanne Nordone, and Christy Jacobson; the food committee, Anne Ritchey, Barbara Culbertson and Cathy Singer.
