Four Fishermen Missing

Four fishermen were reported
missing today off Roddickton, on
the northeast coast of New
foundland, and bad weather held
up a scheduled RCAF search for
them.

Silverton Sleuths Bette DePeel and Floyd Simpson were
n the way home from i Silverton high school movie when they
noticed suspicious character slink from a darkened entrance
to the school and burdened with several packages. Simpson
started after the character, who it was eventually learned
was about his own age, while Miss DePell went to rouse
her father, a deputy constable and Silverton police officer.
Simpson tackled his suspect and held him until the officer
arrived. Questioned at the office of the Justice of the peace
k revealed nearly a score of robberies and furnished names
f accomplices, all Juveniles, before being taken to Justice
tourt in Salem. Simpson is a high school athlete and a mem
ber of DeMolay while Miss DePeel is a Junior and active in the
Rainbow Girls. (Photos by Drake)
