Mr. Tate says that there are
probably some wheat growers
that the committeemen do not

acreage shown by the survey
will be the basis for both lndi

Why are Safeway
Fryrs so good?
Well, for several good reasons.
They are selected from Hampshire
stock a special breed of extra
meaty chickens. Each week only
the right number of chicks are
hatched depending on the weekly
movement of finished birds to
market. The chicks get scientific
ally prepared mash for fast, tendet
growth and extra flavor. And dur
ing this feeding and development
period, they are kept in pens above
the floor never let out. In I0y$ to
1114 weeks when they have devel.
oped just right for frying . . . they
are killed, pre-cooled, drawn,
packed and quick-froren in one,
continuous operation as near per
fection in good-eating chickens as
it is possible to get.
Back of the packaged fryer you see
in our markets have gone years of
research and development. Irs this
package you get a completely pre
pared chicken cut up ready to
use no waste parts to pay for.
Each package of our ready-to-coolc
fryers is just that rtady-to-cook!
It's price per pound should not be
compared directly with the price
per pound of "N. Y. Dressed" (un
drawn chickens which includes,
many waste parts).
Try one of these fancy fryers to
dayat our risk. If it fails to
please you in any way, Safeway
will be glad to refund your full
purchase price. That's how sure we
are you'll like it!
