Dodge's Death Held

For six full days the jury had
heard testimony from police of- (
ficers and acquaintances of "
young Dodge, who died more .
than 24 hours after he was ar- ,
rested and taken to a local police
station following a disturbance
on an east side residential area.
An autopsy showed that Dodge r
had suffered a 10-inch fracture
of the skull.
The coroners' jury reported
formally that:
"Dodge came to his death by
cerebral hemorrhage, precipi
tated by a skull fracture that he .
suffered on the morning of '.
August 12, accidently, In Mc
Clellan (police) station. No
crime was found."
One in every eight motor
