eagerly accepted by the "boys"

by Kennedy that he hoped the
campaign continued.

Mrs. Lienhart, daughter of
Mrs. Charles E, McDougail of
Gervais and the late Charles E.
McDougail is well known here,
a graduate of Gervais high
school in the class of 1933.
Mr. Lienhart, son of Mr. and
Mrs. John L. Lienhart of Moni
tor, graduated from Canby high
school in 1834, attended Willa
mette University where he was
affiliated with Kappa Gamma
Rho fraternity, He is now in
the United States army and sta
tioned on the Mexican border
where the young couple will
live.

Stephen's Catholic church in
Portland Saturday morning of
Miss Delight McKaie of St. Paul,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.
Clair Smith, o Gervais, and
Lieut. John d'Arc Lorcns, Uni
ted States navy, son oi Dr. and
Mrs. John Edward Lorenz, of
Portland. The nuptial mass was
read by Rev. A. J. Carmody
and Rev. J. P. Hcadc,

bethan dress of white satin with
Mary Stuart cap, hoiding in
place her fuii tulle veil bor
dered with lace, bhe earned a
bouquet of white gladioluses and
bouvardia centered with gar
denias.
Miss Kathleen Kirk of St.
Paul was maid of honor. She
wore a blue taffeta dress with
basque bodice and shoulder veil
of matching tuile and carried a
bouquet of corai gladioluses.
Miss Veria Ay cock was
bridesmaid. She wore a blue
taffeta dress with pink tulle veil
and carried yellow gladioluses.
Little VaVara Salmon was
flower girl and Master Philip
Fratney was ring-bearer. James
Lorehz was best man for his
brother and Waiter Hauge and
John Edwards were ushers.
A wedding breakfast was held
at the Portland hotel tor the
bridal party and immediate rela
tives, St. Paul Miss Jeanette and
Miss Kathleen Kirk were in
Portland Saturday and attended
the wedding of Miss Delight
