Missing Boy May
Go fo Portland
Thursday. A note left for his par
ents told them he was going to
Portland, his father R. D. Wilson
of Aumsville, reported to police.
The boy is described as five feet
one inch tall, weighs 90 pounds, was
wearing overalls and a blue-gray
plaid Jacket.

atre. Herbert Marshall, her co-star, is seen as a United States
senator; Virginia, as a radio reporter, keeping up with the dra
matic tempo of history in the making. Young Gene Reynolds,

Comedy Flavors Drama This describes the scene from "A Little
Bit of Heaven." The players are, left to right, Hugh Herbert,
Gloria Jean, Frank Jenks, Nan Grey and Stuart Erwin. The com

Liberty theatre is "Mexican Spitfire Out West," starring Lupe
Valez and Leon Errol.

"Melody and Moonlight" with Johnny Dawn, Barbara (Vera
Vague) Allen and Jerry Colonna.
Affectionately Yours For Fun Dennis Morgan, Merle Oberon,
Rita Hayworth and Ralph Bellamy In their romantic comedy
"Affectionately Yours," opening today at the Capitol theatre. The
companion film, "Lone Star Raiders," features the Three Mesquiteers.
Negro Missionary
Presents Concert
Rer. J. Basil Matthews, O.S.B.,
first colored missionary ordained
Benedictine In the United States,
and a troup of singers will present
a program of negro spirituals and
folk songs at St. Joseph's hall, the
evening of Wednesday, July 2. The
concert Is being sponsored by the
Salem council, Knights of Colum
bus. The singers are known as the
"Carribean Knights of Calypso,"
featuring a native artist who ap
pears as Sir Lancelot, tenor. The
program is presented in five episodes
with five supporting artists. Between
vocal selections, Father Basil ex
plains the folk lore significance to
the audience.

Kropp in making arrangements for
the concert are Joe Roshenflusch,
John Nathman, Ed Majek, Ed Hee
nan, and Pierce A. Carmlchael. Pro
ceeds from the performance will
