Answer: The age has nothing to
do with it. All business people
should use their titles. In mis par
ticular case, however, if, lets say,
you are Mr. Brown's secretary, it
would be more helpful to say this
than to call yourself by name.
Here Comes the Bride!
Dear Mrs. Post: a Is it correct
for a bride to waik into church tak
ing the right arm of whoever es
corts her? (b This means, doesn't
it, that she then has to carry her
flowers in her right arm? c At
the chancel she has to change her
flowers to her left arm to take
the groom's left arm with her right.
All this seems too unnecessarily
complicated, and I'm wondering why
walking on the left side of the
escort wouldn't be much better.
Answer: a Yes. b) Yes. (c) Yes,
To do anything else would not only
be wrong but awkward. I? she
should walk on the left side, that
means her father would not only
bump Into the groom, but get be
tween the groom and the bride
and in order to get out of the way
he wilt probably try to jump across
her train to be on the right side.
This actually happened at a wed
ding long ago. Moreover, father
slipped on the edge of the train
and fell!

Busses Creating
Hazard a! Dallas
Dallas A regular meeting of the
city council was held Monday eve
ning in the city hall and the appli
cations for beer and wine licenses
by the Oregon state liquor con
trol commission for Charles Bllyeu
and T. J. Primus were approved.
The matter of busses parking on
Main street while loading and un
loading passengers was discussed
at great length. It seems that the
way they park now is creating a
traffic hazard and the ordinance
committee was instructed to have
an ordinance ready for first read
ing at the next meeting of the coun
cil, controlling the parking of the
vehicles or providing them space
in which to park.
