Woodburn The Hubbard grade
school football team defeated the
St. Benedict's school team of Wood-
burn 28-0 in touch-tackle at Hub
bard Tuesday afternoon. The first
period was scoreless but In the sec
ond quarter Harold VoRel. speedy
quarter for Hubbard, broke away
for several long runs and rolled up
two touchdowns. He went over
from the 12 yard line for the first
and dashed 32 yards for the second.
He also went around left end for
the extra point on one occasion. In
the third quarter Vogel again ran
15 ynrds for a touchdown and passed
to Agce, riftht end, for the extra
point. He threw a pass to Agee for
another touchdown In the third
period. In the fourth quarter Vo
gel was taken out and the Hubbard
attack boned down and only

was "crown property police today
shooed loiterers away from Cum
berland Terrace, site of the new
home of Mrs. Wallii Simpson, King
Edward's American friend.
A sergeant and two constables pa
trolled the district.
Every time anyone tarried outside
No. 16, Mrs. Simpson's home, they
were told: "You won't see the per
son you want to see."
Pointing to lamp posts on whlcn
was embossed "O R.," (George Rex),
one constable announced:
'Ordinary garden people don't

Someone asked him what would
happen to persons who insisted on
standing in Cumberland Terrace.

to building landlords for 100 years
or more.
Mrs. Simpson, herself, holds only
a seven months' lease from Mrs,
Cuthbert Stewart, who Is the second
leaseholder removed from the crown
authorities.
