BY LIQUOR STORES
The Oregon liquor control com
mission today reported a net profit
of 1111,177.26 in its stores last
month on gross sales of $589,437.85.
In the past seven months, the net
profit has been $770514.99 on sales
which ran to $3,857,947.25.
The license division made $4,
070.69 last month and $220,537.82
since the first of the year. The
privilege tax division reported a
profit of $66,860.41 last month and
$34739791 since January 1.
Since the state went into the li
quor business two . and one-half
years ago, $2,982,426.82 has been
turned over to unemployment re
lief.
