IS BURIED TUESDAY
Woodbum Joseph Vojacek, 70,
died at his home In Hall addition
Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.
He was born In Bohemia on June
5, 185 and la survived by his wife,
one son in Michigan and one
daughter in Wisconsin. Funeral
services were held Tuesday morn
ing at 0 o'clock at 81 Luke's shurch
with Rev. J. E. Rubls officiating.
Interment was in St. Luke's ceme
tery. Independence Mrs. James Rob
bio and Mm. W. H. Walker were
hoeteasea to the members of the
Past Noble Grand's club at the home
of the latter. After a short busi
ness meeting Mrs. Robbie gave a
reading, followed by "500." Later In
the evening several of the hus
bands came In and played games.
Refreshments were herved by the
hostesses.
Thpre were 23 members nresenl.
Palls City Funeral services for
Mrs. W. 8. Dennis were conducted
from the Christian church Monday
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Mrs.
Dennis had been In 111 health for
a number of years but died sudden
ly at o'clock Sunday morning.
She was born October 36. 1873
and was married in 1891 at Scotts
