The admission was made by

his outline of what the defense
expects to prove. He said:
The defense counsel hereby
withdraws the previous denial as
to the blood of this defendant and

struct the jury to disregard that
portion of the outline of the plain

Sam Matheny, who grows 60
acres of strawberries in the Silver
Creek falls country, was before the
county court again Tuesday with
a delegation in regard to improve
ment of the south road to the
falls from Union hill schoolbouse,
which they say can bo put on a
grade to no place more than 5 per
cent and do away with the present

Matheny states that the straw
berry industry In tho Silver Falls
country Is growing by leaps and
bounds and that within a mile of
his place over 225 acres are al
ready in strawberries and produc
