Butter and egg prices were un
changed on the local dairy board
at the close of the week and the
market closed generally steady In
both lines.
Duriner the nast week the fresh
egg market has been a Utljc easier
with top grades closing a cent low
er than last Saturday. Extras are
down to 55 cents and firm at 52
cents. Other grades are unchang
ed from a week ago. Demand lfi
lesa keen while at the same time
members of the egg trade appear
a bit skeptical over the inrgo stor
age holdings and frankly admit
that they are not being reduced
rapidly enough to warrant a good.

weakness developing In the motors
and high priced specialties. Gen

Wool worth Hudson and U. S. Cast
Irion Pipe sold 3 to 4 points below

have brought 44 cents. The
Western Wool warehouse olso has
750,000 pounds more of Idaho wool
for which tlio holders ask a high
er price.
Among the sales reported in the
country yesterday was the Kuhna
clip of 100,000 pounds of Echo,
which brought about 39 cents. Bus
iness was also reported In the llep
ner district.
Buyers are making offers more
frcoly for north western wool, hut

be based on this scale, the decision

ed as one of the very best yards
In this district. Sole ownership
was acquired by Mr. Roberts about
a year ago at the time ne and x.

ship holdings, and the only reason
Mr. Roberts had for selling It was
its Isolation from his other hop
holdings.
The Walkers are accumulating
hop yards. Mr. Walker's son, Dean
purchased the E. M. Young yard
north of town this fall. Dean and
his brother, Ray, own and operate
a good sized yard on the east side
of the river.
The consideration of the Roberta
sale has not been announced.
Another realty deal of consider
able magnitude Is the Bale by S
B. Walker to his brother, W. H.
Walker, of his interest In the Wnl
ker Bros, hop ranch, which Is lo
cated just north of town. This firm
has been in the hop game for a
