The state of Oregon has beca a)
lowed $163,804.20 by the federal
government an the state's 25 per
cent of tlio returns from national
forest rentals, timber salea anil
other sources of national fore:: In
come for the fiscal year 1 92 fi , ac
cording to a letter received by Gov
ernor Pierce from L. R Knelpp,
national edernl forester. The mon
ey, when received by the state trens
urer, will be apportioned to the
counties according to the acreage
of federal forest lands In the coun
ties. The apportionment by forest
reserves and counties is as ollows:
