October 5, the October term of cir
cuit court closed today and Judge
Kelly discharged the Jury mis
mo.'ulng. The most Important
cases of the term were those which
resulted in sentence of Murray,
Willoa and Kelley, prison convicts
who stayed two guards in staging
un escape. These three are doom
ed to die on the gallows. Their
cases consumed nearly three weeks
of the term.
Tho next term of department
No. 1 will open next Monday at
which time a number of criminal
cases, which were sidetracked by
the convict cases, will come up for
rial. Judge Kelley expects to be
here again Friday to hear motions
and set cases for the coming term
of nrt.
