by tho school board at last night's
meeting includes:
J. C. Perry, Hd Schunke, W. I.
Staloy, U. Q. Shlploy, T. M. Hicks,
Ed Barnes and Dave Eyre. The
last two wero named as alternates,
to ho picked In case any of tho
othors found it Impossible to serve.
The committee will meet with the
board next Tuesday night, Nov, 3
at 8 o'clock, for the purpose of go
ing ovor the budget for the com-
ng year. Tho meeting is re
quired by school regulations.
Action was taken authorizing
the purchaso of a bookkeeping
machine, to bo operated by elec
tricity, and used in the com
mercial department of the senior
high school. Tho machine Is to
cos. $693.75, less a, discount of
two per cent for cash. A new
mimeograph, to cost $265, was
also authorized. Both are needed
to keep the commercial depart
ment modern nnd up to date, U
wasstated. A multigraph, for
which thero had been considerable
agitation, will not be purchased
this year duo to a lack ot suf
ficient funds.

an electric motor for a sanding
machine boing constructed by tho
machtno shop class at high school

smoothing off the tops of desks
