Fez, French Morocco. Oct, C
(A. P.) The fears of yesterday
that the heavy rainfall might
cause a cessation in the French
operations against the Riffian
tribesmen proved baseless, for to
day a hot sun was rapidly drying
off the roads. The downpour was
really of benefit to the French, as
it put some water in the beds of
the previously dried up brooks.
The troops today again are un
der way after tho brief breathing
spell provided them by the incle
ment weather. In the Kifano re
gion the advanced troops resumed
their march up the valleys of the
Ouezert and Cbaouia and are pro
greVng rapidly toward Alhiicc
mas. They are being well received
by the inhabitants and are now
barely 25 miles from the sea.
Simultaneously another force
began an attack 30 miles further
cast.

"the same good flavor ho hved as a kid peppermint'
When grandfather comes
Wise old granddad he knows what candy is

dressed up in its modern new clothes Pcp o-mint
Life Savers. The kids love them.
Every growing child craves swcelt. Active little
bodies demand sugar. But children's candy must be
pure and they should not overeat.
Life Savers, the little candy mints with the hole
(life saver shape), answer this problem in juit the right
way. They are china-hard and deticiously flavored.
This means that Life Savers are eaten slowly.
Children suck them to make those wonderful flavors
last lonecr. Little tummies are not upset. And Life
Savers nre kind to tiny teeth.
They're safe and wholesome. You mny conscien
tiously be generous with Life Savers for they are ih
ideal candy for little folks.
Six flavors are displayed ot all good stores so you
may help yourself; Pcp-o-mint, Wint-o-grcen, Cinn-o-mon.

While Dr. W.

a practicing pliy

constipation was
the curee of ad
vancing age, he
did not believe
that a "purge"
or "physic" ev
ery little while
was neceesary.
To him. it
seemed cruel that eo many consti
pated old people had to be kept
constantly "stirred up" and half
sick by taking cathartic plllfl,
tablets, salts, calomel and nasty
oils every day or two.
In Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin
he discovered a laxative which
regulates the bowels of old folks.
A single dose will establish nat
ural, healthy bowel movement for
weeks at a time, even for those
chronically constipated. Dr. Cald
well's Syrup Pepsin not only
causes a gentle, easy bowel move
ment but, best of all, It Is often
months before another dose is
necessary. Besides, it is absolutely
harmless and pleasant to take.
