Arkansas.

the race by the Rogers Klwanls
club which received the following
reply:
"Thanks for your offer to gov
ern Arkansas. That's one state I
could not govern. I got the best
part of Arkansas here now, but 1
have never been able to govern
her, but I do thank Arkansas, es
pecially Rogers, for furnishing me
a governor for 18 years. Rogers Is
the Claremoro of Arkansas and
that's the last word in towns. Re
