stalled by tho Hammond Lumber
company and which has been fn
the course of construction for sov
dral months, was placed into serv
ice Monday. Tho crane has a fivo
ton capacity on the end of an 80
foot boom, and is one of the first
of this 1'ind to be Installed on
the coast. It will be used for load
ing heavy timbers on to cars.
