signed up for the first encamp

Before leaving this morning.
Harold Ware expressed the hopi
that as many as 20 more local
scouts would sign up to make the
trip, bringing the number up to
CO. He also hopes to take 60 on
the trip to the second encamp
ment, which begins July 25. Only
about 20 have applied to go to
the second encampment. 'Each
eamp will continue for a period of
two weeke. Contrary to former
announcement, applications arc
till being accepted.
Local scouts matting the trip to

advance detail, consisting of five

Camp Castfasan is located on the
south fork of the Santlara river,
near Cascadia. A construction
program will bo etrosaed among
the camp activities this year. Pio
neering work, such as building
signal to wore, diving apparatus
for the swimming pol, as well as
a long chute for tve pool, has been
planned.
Robert Boyles, chef of the camp

will have little, if any opposition
for the republican presidential
nomination In 1928 and will be
re-elected.
