and expedient and hereby declares
its purpose and intention to Ira-
prove North Fourth streot from
the south line of Norway street to
the south lino of Columbia street
in the City of Salem, Marlon
county. Oregon, at the expense of
the abutting and adjacent proper
ty, excepting the street intersec
tions, the expense of which will
be assumed by the City of Salem,
by bringing said portion of said
street to the established grado,
constructing cement concrete
curbs, and paving said portion of
said street with a six inch Port
land cemsnt concreto pavement
thirty feet wide in accordance with
the plans, specifications and esti
mates therefor, which were adopt
ed by the Common Council June
15, 1925, now on file In tho office
of tho city recorder and which
said plans,, specifications and esti
mates are hereby referred to and
maio a part of this notice. .
The Common Council hereby
declares its purpose and intention
to make the above described im
provement by and through the
Street Improvement Department of
