The Salem Senators suffored
their first defeat of the season In
the interstate league series on the
Oxford park diamond yesterday
afternoon at the hands of the
strong Luckenbach ship company
nine by a score of 5 to 2. The
visitors played exceptional ball
and the locals were helpless at
the hands of the Luckenbach bur
ler, Rudy Kalllo, late of the Bos
ton Americans, and released by
them to the Suit Lake club of the
Pacific Coast League
The locals started the game In
good form when they scored In
the first frame. Douton got or
first on Stranahan's error. Proe
tor sacrificed him to second and
he went to third on a passed ball
Bill Steers struck at a wild one
ut singled through the pitchers
Dox on the next ball and Douton
crossed the platter. Kcenc fanned.
The visitors scored in the second
Inning. Clark was issued a walk.
Carroll fanned. Parks got on first
on Bouton's error and Clark stop

Kalllo went to second when
Holmcke walked and filled the
