Pierce was unable to attend tbe
quarterly meeting of tbe Polk
County Farmers' Union at bridge-
port, Wednesday, at which he was
scheduled to speak, and Milton A.
Miller came In lbs place. Mr.

prison and Herbert Egbert, Farm-

demning the Dennis resolution
