of $375,6-00 for the proposed
change ot the source oY city water
supply from the Willamette to
the Al?Kenzie river. Tho vote caat
in the city was fairly light and
aome of the other lme on tAe
ballot were closely contested.
The -vtrvey for the change In
water supply for Eugene has al
ready been completed, and work
is expected to atari in the near tu
ure, according to Carl MrtJIain,
superintendent of public utilities.
Other bond fesuee approved at
the polls yesterday were $135,000
for two new reservoirs, pumpa
and connecting pipelines; $50,-
000 for sewer re-construction, and
two issues, totalling $50,000 for
street intersection paving.

$25,000 for fire apparatus; $10,
000 for remodeling of tho city
hall; $25,000 for the purchase o(
a municipal Incinerator and $9,-
000 for the paving of a certain
