The Blindness
oflbuth
In Judith's set, a girl was
cither a "good fellow' or she
was "out of luck. For ex
ample. "What was wrong
with a little drink between
friends? Judith wanted to be
popular, but she could not
know that in finally yielding
to the taunts of her friends and
it king her first little drink
just to be a "good fellow
was to be the beginning of a
mad career of folly that would
end in the blackest tragedy.
Never was the curse of drink
brought horrie with such com
polling force as in the story of
Judith, appearing under the
title, "Tangled Threads," in

Picture the setting the Western wilderness of 1878.
Enormous herds of buffalo running wild across the plains. The runh of pioneers
to the new fields of fortune. The wanton slaughter of the buffalo by the hide
hunters, inciting the Indians to new and savage uprisings.
Picture Zane Grey's greatest romance against that thrilling background!
With a company of 1,000 recreating the amazing scenes and 2,000 maddened buf
falo in REAL stampede.
And the stampede is just ONE clap of thunder in this drama of thundering
thrills!
