along the railroad track from the
Washington school the district
owns a 10-acre tract ideally situat
ed for a park, an athletic and rec
reation field and the site for a
new school building In that dis
trict when the need becomes great

For months members of the board
have been scheming and planning
wlih a view to utilizing this tract
to the bcit advantage. Through
their deliberations they have de
vised tentative pirns that, in their
belief, .solve both the park and
Hchool problem In that section of
the city.
