Tho glee will be held In the Sa
lem armory at 8 p. m. Spectators
will be allowed only In the bal
cony, the- entire lower floor being
reserved for students and their
friends. No charge is to be made
for any admission. Each atudent
la allowed one ticket, which he
may give to a friend, entitling him
to sit at the sldo of the room on
the lower floor. The center section
of the auditorium la reserved for
the four contesting classes. Words
nd music for the four songs were
written as follows:

Most of the classes having been
practicing their songs twice a day
for the last month. Various or
iginal formatlone have been de-
lsed for the singers as they ap
pear on the platform. The senior
class will wear caps and gowns,
tomorrow night being their first
appearance in tho costumes. The
juniors havo perfected a difficult
formation when Involves the use of
number of athletic sweaters, all
members of the class who have
earned letters being grouped to
gather in an original manner.

University of Oregon and the Ore
gon Agricultural college basket
ball teams fought out the first of
a three-game series to decide the
championship of the northern sec
tion of the Pacific- coast confer
ence here yesterday afternoon.
The Aggies won, 15 to 22.
The Oregon basket shooters
were held to four field goals, so
close was the guarding of the Ag
gies. The Agfcics made seven.
Ridings, Aggie forward, was
high point man with six markers
to bis credit. Westergren, Oregon
guard, was next with live.
