At this meeting Mra. Davis told
of the building drive which will
bo put on by the Oregon confer
ence next year to raise $40,000
to match with the $60,000 that
the national organisation will
give to erect a settlement center

cial Inspector of Agricultural Education In Russian Armenia. She Is
ssoclate director of the Near East Relief's Agricultural Institute at
Decal-Ogbll, Armenia, where farmlug Is being taught to 1,200 Armenian
boys and girls.
Flegel will come to Salem to Join
Mrs. Kiegel and his son and they
will remain here until the first

Mr. and Mrs. Meyers were house
guesta of the Flegels at Schotield
barracks. Numerous side trips to
the various volcanoes both on the

islands were enjoyed by Mr. and

they met Mr. and Mrs. George
Waters of Salem, In Honolulu.
