could not be given for $500 as the
new law would provide. The new
ordinance stctes "that all money
over the sum of $500 shall be giv
en to the civic emeigency fund,
to be expended as the mayor or
others desire." Plant otters state
ments and.receipts to show that a
good card cannot be given for this
sum. The armory would cost

the bill Senator Miller explained

have been the same for 20 years.
