ed Tuesday at a meeting held at
the I sis theatre at Independence.
The four clubs launched are at
Bethel, Greenwood. Independence
and Blkins and the members are

county.

tering the milk bottles all over the
pavement and Injuring the horse.
The driver of the car said he failed
to see the cart, and offered to pay
expenses.
Tubular fire shoots are being

west. In order to avoid a head-on

Silverton, has written from his
home at Lake Nordcn, S. O., that
he was surprised recently when
doing some work on a church
there to find the lumber used,
stamped with the Silver Fatlu
Timber company, Silverton, Ore
gon, stamp.

Frank Rahn who has been un
der smallpox quarantine for some
time is again out. Other smallpox
quarantine signs are being re
moved and as no new cases have
been reported ft Is safe to assume
that the epidemic which was
feared has been averted. The ac

vaccination of the school children
is largely responsible for checking
the disease, it Is thought.
