Christler, rector of St. ' Mark's Episcopal church of this town and missionary of the Milk ' River valley, was shot and in stantly killed in his home here at an early hour this morning. Mrs. Margaret Carleton, a member of his congregation and wife of a . former district judge, now resid ing in California, is declared to have been the rector's slayer. Mrs. Carleton committed suicide.
