British Columbia
Arrangements have bean made
by forensic manager Anderson of
Willamette university tor the girl
debaters to meet the University or
British Columbia. This will be the
first time Willamette will have
debated against the students of
another nation. The debate will
be held in Salem upon February
24. It will not be' a dual debate,
and thus will Involve only one
team of two girls for each of the
two schools.

to appear in court and was de
clared In detault, but Charles E.
Simon and Bose E. Simon were
represented by Carson and Brown
and were declared a party to the
suit in the plaintiff's pleadings,
because they had leased the ranch
to Kodama. "
