Saturday evening the clothesline
of Mrs. E. R. MsGahuey at Fifth
and Jackson streets, was robbed
of several pieces of women's un
derwear, and the articles taken
were of the best materials hung
out to dry. The line had been
stretched on the front porch and
of the washing hung out nothing
was taken but the women's un
derwear garments.
Flvidently the belief is a woman,
but so far she has eluded Till at
tempts by the officers and resi
dents to catch her, and generally
visits several lines In the neigh
borhood during1 one raid. , No
other clothes have been reported
missing, however, but the latest
case is parallel t othat of recent
