of Trade Street from Church Street
to Hitch Street.
Notice Is hereby given that Com
mon Council deems it expedient so
to do, and hereby declares Its purpose
and Intention to improve Trade Street
from the west line of Church Street
to the east line of High Street at the
expense of the abutting and adjaoent
property, except the alley intersec
tion which will be paid by the City
of Salem, by bringing said portion of
Trade Street to the established grade,
constructing cement concrete curbs
and paving said portion nf Trade
Street with a six Inch Portland cement
gravel concrete pavement, in accord
ance with the plans and specifications
for the Improvement of said portion
of said street which were adopted by
the Common Council on the 17th day
of May, 1920, which are now on file
In the office of the City Recorder, and
which for greater certainty and con
venience and a more detailed desola
tion thereof, are hereby referred to
and made a part hereof.
The Common Council hereby de
clares its purpose and intention to
make the above described improve
ment by and through the Street Im
provement Department of the City of
Salem.
