Conservation Of Alaska Salmon Result Of Order Seattle, Wash., Dec. 31. Salmon In Alaska waters will be conserved by an order which goes into effect to morrow which prohibits fishing for salmon until further notice in certain places. All fishing is'prohiblted in salmon streams, their 'tributaries and lakes east of Cape Spencer. With a few exceptions all fishing i prohibited in salmon streams empty ing Into the Pacific and Bering be tween Cape Spencer and Cape Newen ham and within 500 yards of the streams' mouths. The order, issued by the secretary of commerce, followed a hearing held here last November.
