Lillian E. ' Lacy, age 62, wife of
Hev. A. F. Lacy, of Amity, Oregon,
former pastor of the Jason Lee church
Jin this city, died at a local hospital
Tuesday afternoon. The body 1s at the
parlors of the Webb and Clough com
pany, Court and High streets. The
four children : have been notified of
the death of their mother, and until
word is received from them no funer
al announcement will be made.
The Messrs T. G. and Frank Bligh
had planned 'an- additional treat for
the youngsters who were the guests
of the Cherrians by setting 200 seats
aside for the children Wednesday
night. Due to the fact, however that
many of the tots were very small and
that the Cherrians had promised to
return them to Jheir homes at an
early hour, advantage wos not taken
o the generous offer of the show
managers. However, youthful patrons
of the Bligh and Ye Liberty shows
during the matinee on Christmas day,
each received a package of fresh but
ter crisped popcorn.

After an absence of more than two
years, Roderick Vtaters, son of Mr.
and Mrs. F. L. Waters, H99 State

morning. Mr. Waters joined the navy
in 1917, and with the exception of a
period of three months spent in train

entire time in active service, the
states, the Orient, and in Europe. He
was on the steamship Westgate when
