16 CULTURE & HERITAGE JULY 13�20, 2022 CELEBRATING THE HISTORY OF EASTERN OREGON Learn about Ladd Marsh at Third Tuesday Event is hosted by the Union County Museum Go! staff UNION — The Union County Museum will host its next Third Tuesday event July 19 at 7 p.m. Kyle Martin from the Ladd Marsh Wild- life Area will talk about the history of the wildlife area and the land it encompasses, artifacts found there from the time of the Oregon Trail migration, settlement era changes made to the Grande Ronde Valley and restoration of the marsh. Third Tuesday events are held in the Little White Church, beside city hall and across Main Street from the museum in Union. The public is welcome, and admis- sion is free.
