OUT OF THE PAST
Compiled by Cheryl Jenkins
May 25, 1922

The fi rst street dance in
Enterprise was held after
down town business men
gave the streets a clean-

shine, in preparation for the
stockmen’s convention. The
result, with the bright colors
of the banners strung across
the streets, was to make the
town look more animated
than ever before in its history.
