The May Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, the 31st.
These matters will be reviewed for conformance to the WCCLUP and WCLDO Article 1, Article 5, Article

lowa County or the State of Oregon. All applications and draft staff reports may be reviewed in the Planning
Dept. Monday – Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Written comments must be received by the Wallowa

April 26, 2022. Oral comments may be given at the time of the hearing, which is open to the public. For

General Notice
The City of Joseph, Oregon (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Wastewater System Improvements - 2022
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City of Joseph City Hall located at 201 North
Main Street, Joseph, Oregon 97846, until Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., local time. At that time
the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
The Work for this Contract includes, but is not limited to, improvements to the existing headworks, in-
cluding demolition of the existing mechanical screen and installation of a new mechanical screen; removal
of the existing treatment lagoon floating aerators and installation of a fine bubble diffuser aeration system;
construction of a nitrification system to treat ammonia; upgrades to the disinfection system; construction
of a dechlorination system; construction of a new process building to house the aeration and nitrification
system blower, disinfection and dechlorination chemical feed systems, and electrical and controls; im-
provements to the irrigation pump station and irrigation center pivot; together with all other Work required
to complete the Project as shown on the Drawings and specified.
The Contractor will be subject to the Davis-Bacon Act (40USC276a) and the applicable provisions of ORS
279C.800 through ORS 279C.870 (the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law).
This Project is being funded in part through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and the City of Joseph.

American Iron and Steel
Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural De-
