Pendleton Library offers activity for all ages

ENDLETON — Spring is in
the air, and with the begin-
ning of the new season comes
fresh excitement that the Pend-
leton Public Library is ready to
share with all. The library’s March
itinerary is jam-packed with a
variety of fun events for both
children and adults.

one on Saturday, March 12, for St. Patrick’s Day.
CHILDREN EVENTS
March 12, 10:15 a.m.: Get
in the holiday spirit with a St.
Patrick’s Day themed story time
and a Shamrock Treasure Hunt.
March 16, 5 p.m.: American
Girl — Accessory Shop. Use
your creativity while learning
to make unique accessories
like a pet habitat, play food,
and school supplies for an
American Girl doll or any other
18-inch doll. For ages 8-12;
registration required.
March 17, 4:30 a.m.: Cele-
brate St. Patrick’s Day by taking
part in a rainbow Lego building
contest and scavenger hunt.
March 26, 2 p.m.: This
month’s STEM story time will be
spent learning all about space
including stories about the
solar system.

The Pendleton Public Library hosts special events, such as a recent seminar
on the basics of backpacking.
March 29, 4:30 p.m.: STEM
Crafternoon that combines
crafts and math — learn all about
the importance of Pi.
March 18, 6 p.m.: Watch a
screening of the 1968 movie
“Bullitt” while enjoying popcorn
and fi nish off the night with a dis-
cussion. Registration required.
ADULT AND TEEN EVENTS
March 17, 5 p.m.: Learn how
to make three diff erent kinds
of paper including plain paper,
a paper decorated with fl owers
and leaves, and a paper with
seeds that grow when planted.
This event is for teens and
adults; registration required.

Ave., is open Monday-Thursday,
10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Friday and
Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. It is
