4 MIXED MEDIUM MARCH 9�16, 2022 THE ARTS AROUND EASTERN OREGON High school art students honored at EOU Show is on display through March 15 Go! staff L A GRANDE — The East- ern Oregon Regional High School Art Exhibition featuring nearly 300 works by students from 12 high schools opened Friday, Feb. 25, at Eastern Or- egon University’s Nightingale Gallery. Nathan Lowe, dean of EOU’s College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, gave a brief welcome to visitors and Nightingale Gallery Director Cory Peeke presented awards for exemplary work by the students. All Best of Show winners received an award certificate, a $50 Blick Art Materials gift card and a sketchbook from the EOU Art Department as well as an EOU T-shirt and tote bag compliments of the Of- fice of Admissions. Honorable Mention recipients received a certificate of award.
