Position to be filled: K-12 School Secretary
Description
The school secretary serves as the face of the school, greeting students
and parents and providing them with information. They will answer
phones, give administrative support to teachers and school officials, help
maintain records on students including those that are confidential, fulfill
record requests, order and inventory supplies, maintain daily attendance
for students, bookkeeping and payroll duties, assist with scheduling
and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicant must be extremely personable, highly organized, able to
multi-task, experienced with handling money and bookkeeping (cash
drawer, bank deposits, balancing accounts), able to maintain student
records in accordance with state requirements, be comfortable working
with various community partners, able to work with standard office equip-
ment, proficient in a variety of computer programs such as
Windows Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Schoolmaster, Synergy, Alert IIS, etc.
Compensation
The experience level in accordance with the current salary schedule will
determine salary.
