NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Joseph hereby gives notice of a public hearing to
consider a request by David and Victoria Facciuto for a condi-
tional use permit for a single-family residential dwelling. The
property is zoned Light-industrial and is located at 804 Mullen
Lane, Map #2S45E30, Tax Lot 607.
The hearing is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the Joseph Com-
munity Center on Thursday, June 6, 2019. Those with an
interest in the application are invited to appear at the hearing
and place their testimony on record for council deliberation.
Written testimony will be taken up to the time of the hearing.
The application may be reviewed at Joseph city hall during
normal working hours.

LEGAL NOTICE
The Wallowa County Health Care District Board of Directors
will hold its regular board meeting on Monday, May 20, 2019
at 11:30am, in the Main Conference Room at Wallowa Memo-
rial Hospital.
The Budget Committee for Wallowa County Health Care Dis-
trict will meet at 11:00am, just prior to the Board meeting, to
review the budget for the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2018
and July 1, 2019 and make recommendation to the Board of
Directors to approve said budget at their regular board meet-
ing on June 24, 2019. A copy of the budget document may be
inspected or obtained on or after May 8, 2019 at the adminis-
tration office of Wallowa Memorial Hospital.
A copy of the Board agenda will be available from the office
of the Wallowa County Chieftain, KWVR or the Administrative
Office at Wallowa Memorial Hospital.
This meeting is open to the public.

NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
INTEGRATED RESOURCE TIMBER CONTRACT-
STEWARDSHIP
WALLOWA-WHITMAN NATIONAL FOREST
The Lostine Public Safety Integrated Resource Timber Con-
tract is located within T.2S., R.43E., Sections 15, 22, 26, 27,
34, and 35; T.3S., R.43E., Sections 2, 11, 13, 14, 23, 24, 25,
and 36; Willamette Meridian. The Forest Service will receive
technical and price proposals (no public opening) at Wal-
lowa-Whitman National Forest Headquarters, 1550 Dewey
Ave., Suite A, Baker City, OR 97814 no later than 10:00 AM
local time on or before June 13, 2019 for an estimated 7,011
CCF sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting.
Also included in the contract are 12 mandatory restorative
service projects to be completed by the Contractor. The con-
tract will be awarded based on a Best Value determination.
One award will be made to the Bidder (a) whose proposal is
technically acceptable and (b) whose technical/price relation-
ship is the most advantageous to the Government. The Forest
Service reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. In-
terested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed
below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information con-
cerning the timber, the restoration service projects, the condi-
tions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public
from the Wallowa Mountains Office 201 East Second St, Jo-
seph, OR 97846 or Wallowa-Whitman National Forest Head-
quarters 1550 Dewey Ave., Suite A, Baker City, OR 97814.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the
Wallowa County Planning Commission on Tuesday, May 28,
2019 at 7:00pm in the Thornton Conference Room, 1st floor of
the Wallowa County Courthouse. The agenda for this meeting
will include the following items:
Eagle Cap Real Estate LLC & Associates CUP#19-04- The
applicant has submitted an application for a campground. The
property is zoned Timber Grazing (T/G) and is described as
Township 2 South, Range 46, Section 0000, Tax Lot 3402 and
consists of approximately 563.70 acres. Access is via Imnaha
Highway. The review criteria will be Article(s) 5, 9, 16, 25 and
other applicable zoning ordinances or goals of Wallowa Coun-
ty and/or laws of the State of Oregon.
Hermens CUP#19-05- The applicant has submitted an appli-
cation for an additional farm dwelling. The property is zoned
Exclusive Farm Use (EFU) and is described as Township 1
North, Range 43, Section 0000, Tax Lot 4001, which is com-
monly known as 80682 Highway 82 Wallowa, Oregon 97885
and consists of approximately 107 acres. The review criteria
will be Article(s) 5, 9, 15, 25 and other applicable zoning ordi-
nances or goals of Wallowa County and/or laws of the State
of Oregon.
Other Business:
The June Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for
June 25, 2019.
These matters will be reviewed for conformance to the WC-
CLUP and WCLDO Article 1, Article 5, Article 7, Article 15, and
any other applicable goal, regulation or ordinance of Wallowa
County or the State of Oregon. All applications and draft staff
reports may be reviewed in the Planning Department Mon-
day – Thursday from 7:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 7:00am-
12:00pm. Written comments must be received by the Wallowa
County Planning Department – 101 S River St. Room #105,
Enterprise OR 97828 – by 5pm on Monday May 27, 2019.
Oral comments may be given at the time of the hearing, which
is open to the public. For persons with disabilities that wish
