Joseph School District
CTE Building
The Joseph School District will receive sealed bids for their CTE Building from qualified general
contractors.
Bids will be received until 12:00 pm (pst) on Tuesday the 12 of February 2019 at Owner’s
administrative offices located at 400 E Williams Ave, Joseph, OR 97846. Bids received after the
stated time will not be accepted. The Bids will be publicly opened by Owner’s staff. Official bid
results shall be made public within 48 hours of bid opening. Bids will be on a lump-sum ba-
sis awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all
bids or to waive informalities in the bidding. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days
subsequent to opening of bids without the written consent of the Owner.
There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid walk through for all bidding general contractors on
Tuesday the 22 of January, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the CTE Building located at 400 E Williams Ave,
Joseph, OR 97846. Subcontractors are also welcome to attend.
The Project scope of work is to construct a new 3,600 SF Career Technical Education (CTE)
building for the Joseph School District. The building will have concrete foundations, wood framed
wall with wood trusses as the making of the primary structure. The building will have standing
seam metal roofing, and metal siding. The building will have plumbing and both gas and electric
heating systems. Electrical feeders and panels shall be installed.
The Owner hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract
entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full
opportunities to submit bids, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race,
color, creed, religion, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, age, honorably discharged veteran or
military status, national origin, or the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability in
consideration for an award. This Project is subject to the Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works
Contracts in Oregon requirements.
