Wenaha rendezvous in Troy April 20-22 Everyone is invited to the 42nd Annual Wenaha Muzzleloaders Rendezvous at Griz Flat in Troy April 20-22. Traders and specta- tors are welcome. Bring the whole family, there is something for everyone at the rendezvous. The event is nestled on Griz Flat at the confluence of the Grande Ronde and Wenaha Rivers. Griz Flats is next to Troy. The event features shooting round ball only and traditional bows. All scores are to be turned in by 6 p.m. Saturday night. There are no trash recep- tacles on site; pack it in, you pack it out. No potable water is available but there will be outhouses available. A limited supply firewood is available. Pets must be on a leash at all times. Fees are $20 for a single entry, $25 for family. Each Shooter receives a blanket prize. Events include rifle trail, hawk and knife trail, pistol trail, trade gun trail, archery trail, varmint silhouette, shotgun shoot, string shoot, Dutch oven cook-off and a homemade spirits contest. Children’s activi- ties include black powder events, BB gun trails, hawk and knife trail, bean bag toss, crafts, s’mores and more. At potluck dinner will be 6 p.m. Saturday. Everyone’s invited. Club provides a main dish; bring a side dish, folding chairs, table settings and great stories. Sunday is a short day. Awards and blanket prizes will be handed out at 10 a.m. Everyone is able to be on the road home between noon and 1 p.m. Camping space is set aside for those who prefer to camp primitive. (Where is the Library?)” The program will be 7 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at the Odd Fellows Hall in Enterprise. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be offered. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Bombaci hiked a thousand miles in three spectacular loca- tions: The Scottish Highlands, the Tour du Mont Blanc in the French Alps and the Pyrenees, which divide France and Spain. Bombaci has previously given presentations about a hike on the 2,167 mile long Appalachian Trail and an 800 mile hike through the Cana- dian Rockies.
