NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
Notice is Hereby Given that the Wallowa County Board of
Commissioners will meet for a set of hearings the first to be
held on Monday April 2, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. and the second to
be held on Monday April 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Thorn-
ton Conference room of the Wallowa County Courthouse. The
purpose of these hearings is to consider an Ordinance, relin-
quishing the local public health authority duties to the Oregon
Health Authority under ORS 431.382 sections 1-5. Those in-
terested in attending are encouraged to do so. If you have
question, please contact the Wallowa County Board of Com-
missioners office at 541-426-4543 ext. 130.
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Troy School
District #54, Wallowa County, state of Oregon, to discuss the
budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, will
be held at Troy School Building. The meeting will take place
on April 10, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is
to receive the budget message and to receive comment from
the public on the budget.

ADVERTISEMENT -- REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE BIDS
WALLOWA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
Covered Walkway Construction
Sealed Competitive Bids for construction of a Covered Walk-
way between two buildings at 601 Medical Parkway in Enter-
prise, Oregon, will be received at the Hospital Administration
Office until 2 p.m., on April 18, 2018. Any Bids received after
the specified time will not be considered.
Qualified hospital staff will self-perform some components
of the project, and will supervise overall construction. Other
components will be put out for bid. The areas expected to
be contracted out include: Excavation and demolition; struc-
tural concrete and labor; electrical lights and doors; and fire
sprinklers. Bidders are invited to bid on one, all, or any com-
bination of components available for bids. Bid documents and
project plans and specifications may be reviewed or obtained
at the hospital’s website, http://www.wchcd.org/bids
This project is subject to the payment of prevailing wages un-
der Oregon law. A bid will not be considered unless it con-
tains, or is accompanied by, a statement that the Bidder will
comply with prevailing wage rate provisions required by ORS
279C.840 for all employees and/or subcontractors who will
provide labor under the contract.
